Thera's Terms and Conditions

By accessing and using the Thera platform, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read these carefully, as they form a binding agreement between you and Thera. If you do not agree to any of these terms, you are advised not to use our services.

Thera is a platform designed to connect clients with licensed mental health professionals for therapy sessions. The services provided by Thera are intended for general therapeutic purposes and do not replace emergency services or crisis interventions. Thera is not a crisis line, and users facing emergencies should contact appropriate local services or dial emergency numbers.

The use of Thera’s services is available to individuals over the age of 18. By using the platform, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide on the platform is accurate and up to date.

Users are required to create an account to access therapy services. As a user, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and are liable for all activities performed under your account. If you suspect any unauthorized access or breach of your account security, you must notify us immediately.

Thera may collect and process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using Thera, you agree to the collection and use of this information for the purposes of providing services.

The professionals listed on Thera’s platform are independent practitioners. Thera does not control or supervise the therapy provided and is not responsible for the advice, opinions, or treatment provided by these professionals. The therapeutic relationship is strictly between you and your therapist.

Thera reserves the right to modify or discontinue services at any time. Any changes to these terms will be communicated via updates on the website or by email. Your continued use of the platform after changes are made constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

In no event shall Thera be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use or inability to use the platform.

Thera's Refund & Cancellation Policy 

Cancellations and Rescheduling

You can cancel or reschedule your session free of charge if you notify us at least 24 hours before your scheduled session time. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or if you do not attend your session (no-show), will be charged in full and counted as a used session, as your therapist has reserved that time specifically for you.

Plans and Packages

If you have purchased a session plan or package, the same 24-hour cancellation policy applies to all sessions. Late-cancelled or missed sessions are deducted from your remaining session balance and are non-refundable.

Sessions must be used within the validity period of your plan:

  1. Monthly plans: Valid for one month from payment date
  2. Six-month plans: Valid for 6 months from payment date
  3. One-year plans: Valid for 12 months from payment date

After the expiry date, unused sessions cannot be refunded unless we have agreed to an exception in advance.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 14 days.

Exceptional Circumstances

If you experience an emergency or unexpected situation, please contact us as soon as possible. We will review your situation with care on a case-by-case basis.

Right to Cancel Purchase

If you are purchasing as a consumer (for personal use), you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of completing your transaction and receive a full refund in accordance with UK consumer law.
