Dr. Elena Sandoval is a Senior Clinical Psychologist from Ecuador with over 25 years of experience supporting adults, couples, and families through life transitions, health challenges, trauma, anxiety, and relationship difficulties. She holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the California Institute for Human Science in San Diego, USA, building on her BA in Psychology from San Francisco University in Quito.
Her career has included work as a school psychologist with children with special needs, long-term private practice (since 2007), and founding and leading the psychology service at Hospital Metropolitano in Quito, where she supported patients in oncology, transplant, intensive care, and emergency settings. Dedicated to integrative and holistic care, Elena later opened her own healing and retreat centre and expanded her remote practice to serve clients around the world in both Spanish and English.
